I created this blog to relieve to be intentional and equivocal on being open about my life having dealt with depression and anxiety. To just have us come together and talk about things you normally wouldn't talk about. I am a single mama, working and going to school full time pursing a medical degree in Psychiatry. I've always been intrigued with the mind. Why people feel the way they do, what may have lead up to those moments.. why certain decisions are made or just how they're personalities and surroundings have shaped who they are. Mental illness should be treated just like you would a yearly check up with your primary care physician. Every one experiences mental exhaustion or even a break down. I am bringing awareness to an illness I am oh so very passionate about. I love FOOD which includes cooking and eating, photography, traveling, and making people laugh. I'm mindful of minorities, because, my mind is full of endless possibilities to bring minorities together.



I've learned that you cannot be successful in life if you're always wearing your daily mask and telling people you're "fine" or doing "good" (thanks for this sermon Pastor Cooper!). It's okay to have a shitty day wanting to f*ck sh*t up or feel like you're about to break because; that's what I'm here for. My mission is to remind you that you are human and it's OK to not be OK. Being a minority, I know what it is like to have to grow up in solitary because we don't want people in our business. Bottling up any frustrations or feelings is just as bad as not speaking at all.. ever.


I speak on topics I'll posted based on my own experience. I'm opening up my journey to you. I've had my moments of feeling alone, mental breakdown and just overall wanting to give up. With tips on life, managing being a single parent, working and going to school, food and traveling!God placed this blog on my heart and if I can even only help 1 person or a few (prayerfully more) I will be the utmost grateful for serving my purpose. I hope you enjoy! 😄
